Description AÂ spicy and delicious lamb preparation
Ingredients
For the marinade
1 kg lamb chops
1 tsp turmeric powder
1tsp coriander powder
3 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder
2 tbsps ginger garlic paste
salt to taste
For frying
2tbsp oil
1 cup chopped onions
3 green chillies
1 inch piece cinnamon
2 cloves
2 pods cardamon
a pinch of saffron
Method
- Marinate the lamb chops with all the ingredients for at least 5-6 hours
- Put the chops in a wide pan and cook till they become soft
- Remove from the pan
- Heat oil in the pan and fry the dry garam masala
- Add onions and cook till they brown
- Add the green chillies and saute
- Add the saffron and the cooked chops to the masala and cook till the chops brown nicely on both sides and all the water is absorbed
