Whole white pomfret marinated in spices and pan fried

Ingredients

  • 2 whole white pomfret ( These fish are usually small – palm size)
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • juice of one lemon
  • salt to taste
  • oil
Method
  • Clean the fish and make deep slits on either side
  • Marinate them in the masala for atleast 2 hours
  • Heat the oil in a shallow pan and cook the fish till done
Note : It can also be deep fried
